Why We Built This Site
Michigan opens a great deal of court and law-enforcement information to the public, but the hard part is knowing which office holds the piece you need. A warrant does not sit in one place. The court that issued it sets the charge and the bond. The Sheriff's Office serves it and can say whether it is still outstanding. A bench warrant from a missed court date stays with the court that set the case, and in Mackinac County that is the 92nd District Court rather than a city court.
Michigan also keeps no public statewide warrant search. LEIN is restricted to authorized criminal-justice agencies, and the state's public criminal-history product, ICHAT, leaves warrant information out by design. A reader can check one office, come up empty, and wrongly assume nothing is outstanding. We put the court contacts, the case-search links, and the record-request steps in one place so the first call is the right one.
What You Will Find Here

- Active warrants: what an active warrant means here and why the county keeps no public roster to search
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise in the 92nd District Court and what a voluntary appearance involves
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued, served, and returned in this county
- Traffic and license matters: how traffic warrants and failure-to-appear questions route through the District Court
What We Cannot Do
This is a private reference site. We have no tie to any Michigan court, sheriff's office, or state agency, and there are firm limits on what we can help with:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm that a warrant exists for any person
- We cannot recall, quash, remove, or clear a warrant from any system
- We cannot post bond or take a payment toward a warrant
- We cannot book a court date or arrange a surrender on anyone's behalf
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a particular warrant applies to you
- We cannot promise that a phone number, fee, or listing on this site is current today
Only the court that issued a warrant or the Sheriff's Office that serves it can confirm the record and its current status. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from that office.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site carry search boxes run by outside companies. Those providers set their own prices and operate their own services. When a tool leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee, and that revenue keeps this reference free to read. We do not control what a partner charges or what its results contain, and a partner result is not an official warrant check.
